if you were queen could I be king
not to rule to share your throne...
but to share you life through eternity?
could I be prince regent in pageant
to stand by your side upon state...
occasions waves smiles to crowds?
prescription castles demand attendants
guards servants serving tea to guests...
from other lands parades marching bands
could I be your gardener growing roses
to bloom to adorn your stately rooms...
alas snow forsaken forgotten winter months
