Love bears witness, it's silent and it doesn't judge
Doesn't need to keep notes for the heart records all permanently
Slides into casual discussions and unplanned encounters
Does not coach or advise but is felt by those observed as if it did

Love watches and is inscrutable, this jury will produce no verdict
You feel the air shared by two people is heavy
But no one is sitting on your shoulder
This set-up makes some sense of destiny

Love is defined by many subjective descriptions
It's character driven, it's what is wanted by heart and soul
But love is just seeing all around you
And letting all around you see into you
