It is really a special kind of love
That flows from heart to heart
It flows from dog to man
It was love right from the start.

It started several years ago
When Marshall entered the scene
He spied this handsome man
It was part of the puppy's scheme.

For he knew the day would come
When the right one came along
He could send a little message
"It is with you where I belong."

And it worked, oh yes it did
The man quickly became his
On that day some time ago
For love is truly what it is.
