Love Lost - Poem by Juan Olivarez

No need for tears I must be gone,
There's nothing left to say.
So stand up straight, try to be strong,
We'll meet again someday.

We've loved our love, for very long,
But twas not meant to be.
Around here I just don't belong,
And you need to be free.

I've always been a lonely man,
And thats the way it will remain.
And as a loner I understand,
Your heart break and your pain.

So hug me once, and smile for me,
And lets remember brighter days.
This really was our destiny,
We were just traveling different ways.

Freedom is bliss and true love sets free. The poem breathes of love that gives and does not confine, its beauty lies in the naked honesty of words, its simplicity of style and refreshing brevity. Perfect. (Report) Reply
