Love Meets Beauty Poem by Isabella Night

Love Meets Beauty

Rating: 4.0

Courage doesn't even dare cross the stepping stones across the raging waters you've swam through.
Pain wouldn't think to come knocking on your door; for a door there is no more.
Fear doesn't know what to do, for you've laughed in its face.
Heartache doesn't know where to go, for where does heartache find a crevice to seep into when a heart has been so tattered and torn as yours?
Love. Now there's the kicker.
Where does love come in?
Love was there to keep you going when you didn't know it.
Love said:
 'You can't see me.
You think I don't exist.
But just you wait, I'm coming for you.
I'm trying to find a way past the pain, fear, and heartache.
Courage and I are teaming up to find you.
And there it is! The entryway!
Beauty!
It's in the soul that lies in the fibers of your being.
It seeps out through every blink of your breath-taking eyes.
It shows in the cuts on your wrists, by the stress lines on your face, by the scars you carry from abuse.
For you've overcome them all.
Beauty is the product of the pain, fear, and heartache that you've suffered through and endured.
Never alone, I've always been here.
Love, will always find you.'

Love is a determined Lady or Lad. I like to feel this way.
