Was not the temple with
its sacrificial practice very,
very important for the Jews?

But loving God and
one's neighbor is
far more important!

Instead of a victim-centered
ethos, of sacrificial practice
of the temple of the Jews,
the teaching of Jesus
to love God and the
neighbour, puts human
identity at the center.

It asks about the successful
existence of people who
are destined to love God
and neighbor throughout life.
