Love Poem To A Friend Poem by Harry J. Couchon Jr

Love Poem To A Friend

We met, in a place neither of us wanted to be
I smiled at you, you smiled back at me
We said hello and instantly became friends
That we care about one another, neither of us pretends

As time passed our friendship grew
Soon I was falling in love with you
But you're another man's so our love can never be
Still I hope, no pray, that you'll always be friends with me
