I held her hand to say
“Do not leave me and go away”
She smiled cruelly and pushed me back
I was shocked and taken a back

You had made your intention clear
I had smelt it with unknown fear
She was adamant to severe the relation
I have now nothing in mind except confusion

I had promised her everything
Right from personal honor to everything
Company and support till end of journey
As destined by almighty

She had different idea of any kind
I too have no idea whether she had found
Another man in life to desert me
I could have made her totally free

“You have your way” she told bluntly
“I can not stay” she opened up very rudely
I was taken by surprise and felt out of gear
Not she but now I was in tears

Love reminds many things
The life has certain links always
It can make life hell or heaven
This development takes turn all of sudden
