Love's Death Poem by MaddiiAnne O'Leary

Love's Death

Those roses you gave me died,
But they only died when your love for me died.
So why did your love for me die?
Was it the new girl across the road that has cought your eye?
Was it that your cousin was hitting on me at that party?
Was it because you think I have moved on?
Was it that your mum hates my guts?
Or was it because your dad likes me so much more then he does you?
If it was any of these things then why didn't you say so.
If it was because your cousin was hitting on me then tell him to back off!
All because of that stupid brain of your's, my love for you has died as well.
