Love’s Never Easy Poem by William McGehee

Love’s Never Easy

A hug and some kisses
Fulfill all your wishes,
Oh if time would just move much more slow
But better than nothing
This feeling of something,
A sadness as I watch you go
Then falling asleep soon you’ll be in my dreams
Though Love’s never easy it seems

Your eyes and your smile
They warm me a while,
Though sometimes as just memories
And when I can hold you
My arms soft enfold you
Then, Darling, that’s just what I need
We laugh and we joke ‘bout our hopes and out schemes
But Loves never easy it seems

I miss you already those baby blue eyes
Milt my heart just like a fire.
Your warm gentle kisses, a burning surprise
Can fulfill my deepest desires.

Alone now I stand
With my heart in my hand,
As you are now too far way
To see me blow kisses
A lover’s lost wishes
To hold you for just one more day.
But I sing this sad song ‘neith the moon’s silver beams
Cause Love’s never easy its seems.

A very nice poem based upon emotional reality. Passions are often misleading but they are a necessary evil because we cannot pass time without them.Either one passion or the other is required to row the boat through the stream of life that gets its ripples from our tumults of thought and desire.
