She whispered in his ears, 'you may be tired'
He looked at her, as she asked if she can kiss
He showed her his cheek,
Very carefully she planted a kiss on his cheek
Was he refreshed?
He found the world,
Which you know, would be different,
A moment from now.
He looked into her eyes,
Smiled at her, knowing
That they may meet later
If at all, as they age, he into nineties
She in her fifties..
It is a regret he thought
That they saw each other this late
Yet, he knows, he has leased a decade into his life!
