Love(Tender Love Always Wins) Poem by U Win Kyi

Love(Tender Love Always Wins)

My heart was so stout and upright,
Like an old oak tree with its might,
With its root deep into the soil,
With its top reaching to the sky,
A strong typhoon couldn't break the trunk,
Only the leaves bore the brunt,
One day it was bent like a grass,
By one thing from my LOVE,
It was a soft speech,
Whispered like a summer breeze.

My heart was so strong,
Like a stainless iron,
Even a large fire with its heat, so intense,
With its hot and glowing red,
Could not make it melt,
One day it became molten like a lava,
By one thing from my LOVER,
It was her warm smile,
Shown always, not once in a while.

My heart was so stubborn,
Like the highest mountain in the horizon,
Could not make it shift or shake,
By the jolt of a big earthquake,
One day it was so moved,
Compassion was slowly oozed,
By one thing from my LOVE,
It was her gentle touch and loving hug.

My heart was so solid,
Like a rock so big,
Even a giant wave hit,
It didn't show a split,
One day it was crushed into pieces,
That I couldn't believe,
By one thing from my LOVER,
Which I couldn't bear,
It was her dropp of tear.
