Love Yourself Poem by Randy McClave

Love Yourself

Love yourself when you are tired
When sleep is needed and required,
And when your brain is sluggish and wired
Love yourself when you are tired.

Love yourself when you are weak
And when you must turn the other cheek,
When you feel lonely and very meek
Love yourself when you are weak.

Love yourself when you are confused
When you feel like you are being misused,
And when you feel unfocused and bemused
Love yourself when you are confused.

Love yourself when you are broken
Either by actions or by terrible words spoken,
Let relief and peace and healing soak in
Love yourself when you are broken.

Love yourself until you are restored
Happiness you can and must always afford,
Feel joyful and pleased and adored
Love yourself until you are restored.
