Loveless Poem by Barry Middleton

Loveless

Rating: 5.0

there comes a time in life
you know that love has died
with emptiness like ice
out where the stars collide

then even doubters pray
with nothing left but hope
for only fantasy
can bring the strength to cope

but those assured by death
may turn to welcome night
so sure a home awaits
where stars provide the light

still all whom love denied
will face their doom forlorn
accursed by destiny
to rue that they were born

Loneliness is beautifully depicted in this amazing write. The existential philosophy is very well incorporated.10

Thanks Nosheen. Life and possibly love are all we really get. If love comes, life is complete.
