Lover Under A Coppice - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Under
The coppice
The two lovers
Kissed

One round of
Kisses
And embraces
Yielded
To another round.

Time did not pass!

In the eye of
The maid
A child shines!

In the muscles
Of manhood
Each embrace
Begets more
- and sweeter!

In the silence
Of the garden
The couple
Grow sweeter
Bolder
The moon
Smiles benign
And
Wishes best!
