Loves Vow Poem by Nicolaa Gallardo

Loves Vow

My eyes were said to tear when you disappeared.
When your voice came into range, I shed happy tears.
Looking for the words and running out of fears.
Dear lover I am waiting, by the bubbling creek.

I hope your mind is clearer though you may not seek my name
Wait for me when you come back.
My heart it longs for you.
With every breath I take, I take it all for you.

The deepest songs of love, hurts my ears when sang.
The sands of time has run out, not worth the deepest cries.
Only in your arms, I want to feel my death.
If you would allow me, I will take my last breath.

Break the words the bind us.
That you may be free.
A lover's vow for dawn shall never be for me
The night is young and the water is cool.

I hold on to the night, that made me not the fool.
