Loving The Sun Poem by Phil Soar

Loving The Sun

Some people love a sunny day
Those days no clouds get in the way
But me, I don't like too much sun
Even though it means some fun
I'd rather be someone who's cool
Sat beside a heated pool
Dipping my feet for a little while
Watching grandkids splash in style
Too much sun means too much lotion
Would rather watch a storm in a raging ocean
I've never liked the heat, I never will
The cool suits me, when I've time to fill
