Lucy's Place Poem by Ima Ryma

Lucy's Place

In 1989 she died.
Loved Lucy, Lucille Ball was gone.
Many witnesses did confide
Her ghost sighting phenomenon,
Returning to Beverly Hills,
To her home where she had long lived.
New owners with redoing wills,
Lucy must have wondered what gived,
Tearing her home up and apart,
Her old bedroom no longer there.
It must have broken Lucy's heart.
Many saw her redhead just stare.

Perhaps she was too sad to stay.
The ghost of Lucy went away.
