Lullaby Poem by Martine Kolber

Lullaby

So sweet the dreams
In which you hide
To be save and safer
While you sleep
As quiet as an angel
Under the lights of heaven

Dream on little wing
For where you will end
No one ever knows
And what will be
Stays secret in the hidden
Gardens of your life

Dream on little wing
I will carry your smile
Inside me when I leave
And when I come back
I will wake you with
The dawn of a new day

this is better than a sleeping tablet. thank you and for your comments too. john p.s. am spending more time (there is so little of it) with poetfreak than with poemhunter at the moment - a land where poets have tolerance and understanding of each other.
