Lump Of Restlessness Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Lump Of Restlessness

Lingering melody makes me cry
I wait long in sun to see my eyes dry
A feather of pure rainbow bright
Often makes my morbid day bright

Once when I was looking far back
Neither I found a scar nor an ache
Yet some vague lump of restlessness
Grew colorful in the damp darkness

What was it painful, deep and strong?
What I had missed or what gone wrong?
I could have reacted then but forgot
Days ago in a spur I mentioned it not

It was a very priceless moment
I was thought a princess latent
A tale of eternal love potent
Faced a sudden death, an abrupt end.

Beautiful poem Soumita. I loved reading each lines... A tale of eternal love potent Faced a sudden death, an abrupt end. Very true said, We feel restlessness, sometimes unknown, though known why we are sad.. May be our mind dont want to accept the fact. So it is trying to ignore it. The concluding lines ends with sadness. Loved it.
