Lunar Tears Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Lunar Tears

What a night!
Oh! What brightness!
Lit so clear in the sparkling lunar tears
With stars of hope gleaming faintly in the backyard!

What a night!
Oh! What coldness
Space so cloudless and frozen
The warmth of hope just but a reality in the backyard!

What a night!
Oh! So eerily quiet!
With audible sounds of silence nearly tangible
As hope whistles faintly in the backyard!
