M = 1,000ark Antony

Pipsqueak Ark Antony
copped laughs as a lad
(as would later a boy named Sue) ,
for his name meant Chest That Thunders.

'What'll I do? Only big chests thunder.
I understand The Hem*; I forgive her.
I'll add an M,
and without laughter achieve my wonders.'

* she wasn't barmy;
she didn't want him in the army.
