Madness Poem by Daya Nandan

Madness within, madness that grows,
Madness inside that simply shows,
Consuming my mind slowly day by day,
Evoking insanity that cannot go away,

Madness dwelling, derangement of my mind,
Shattered thoughts, fragments i can't find,
Tainting my mind with cruel thoughts,
Ideas of taking lives with shotgun shots,

Madness, feels like the devil has taken control,
Madness, feels like there is darkness within my soul,
I am losing myself, in this consciousness sucking black hole,
Slowly eating me away, planning to swallow me whole,

Madness, insanity, i need to get the hell out,
All the world sees is a man who will scream and shout,
My children have left me and so has my lovely wife,
Now to end the torment with a swift slash from this knife,
