All the themes that you've tackled so very well (as always) are so very tragic. What's even more tragic is that the victims seem to be getting younger every year. Pathetic that in a country as great as Canada these conditions continue to get worse!

I agree with you, Richard. I think things are beyond sad. Our political leadership, in an even more tragic twist, seems unable to do anything. This time may be our version of 'As Rome burned...'

I live in small city, before covid there was barely any homelessness, it was rare. now down by our river we have tent cities, addiction and poverty have gotten out of control. This poem hits home. Thank You M.J.
