husky with warmth

hellish cold

& show us

coming into being

the slight sheen
of perspiration

as he turns
with a curse

the wheel

with hand & foot

and sees his world
materialise

in ink.

Satisified with his mastery
he wipes his nose

the great man
(for the moment)

alive in
this man

with the cold

and with what little
fading light

the window
affords.
