She stands motionless
with the sad face
and waits for the gate to open
and see his man enter
the breath turns heavy
but her to envy
that he may turn one day
and show the heavenly way
her eyes don't believe
and live in dreams
for making a good team
and spread the light from the beam
she comes to sense again
she feels the pain
but tries to regain
and remain in control
this is a cruel part
but she thinks of nature's art
as season's change
human beings have to manage
