Manipulating Kindness To Gain Selfish Desires Poem by Terence George Craddock

Manipulating Kindness To Gain Selfish Desires

we are victims
of our choices
kindness generosity
can sow expectations

expectations
can sow entitlement
entitlement
can sow anger hostility

resentment
accusations
when expectations
are not instant met

gifts of time effort
consideration money
given to family
friends strangers

who are lacking
in appreciation
gratitude complacent

can create requests
regular for more money
to pay for x y z

reported financial life crisis
need greed borrowers
can be master manipulators

manipulating kindness
to gain selfish desires
rewards borrowers

refuse to effort work for
manipulation can be
a fast track gain game
