Man's Birth Poem by Randy McClave

Man's Birth

As God was gathering the dust to be found
The serpent was scattering the dust of the ground,
When God was forming Adam to become a living being
God was creating life, and was farseeing.
God was knitting man together upon the Earth
Soon, God would give man his holy birth,
And then when God with dust was creating Adam's form
To which soon on the ground Adam would be born.
It wasn't murder when the snake did connive
To scatter the dust of man, because man is not yet alive,
Nor was it the end if the snake scattered a limb
Because, God was still forming him.
Then in man's nostrils God breathed in life
As if playing existence on a fife,
Scattering the dust on the ground didn't constitute death
Because, life begins at first breath.
