Many Countries Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Many Countries

Rating: 5.0

Many countries

Not at all
After king's fall
Or defeat in war
The queen takes over

We have shining expel
Of Rezia sultana* who ruled well
Someone has to take over the helm of affairs
And act as legal heir

The country can't be left without ruler
Now the system has been changed all over
Some of the countries have turned communists
And some have remained capitalists

Mostly all are progressing
Some countries still have monarchy and possessing
Traditional link to show world
About rich heritage and show how the people are ruled

The head of the state can be anyone
It has to be either man or woman
Many socialist countries have woman as president
And run their affair efficiently at present

*Rezia Sultana: - Mughal Ruler

A thoughtful overview of rulers through ancient to the modern times. Nice to see Razia Sultana being remembered in the poem. Thanks.
