Many more miles
Monday,25th February 2019

No pleasure
my dear
I long for your company
as I have found real beauty

Only glimpse
I could catch from the distance
was it pure coincidence?
or simple chance

I think it was both
and forced me to take an easy breath
it was my untinted faith
and shall believe in it until the death

was I color conscious?
what made me envious
You were made of dark tin
such beauty I have never seen

Lovely figure
carved out from black timber
with a simple and innocent smile
I dreamed to walk with you many more miles
