Many Of The Secrets I Just Can't Know Poem by Mohammad Younus

Many Of The Secrets I Just Can't Know

Many of the secrets I just can't know,
However hard I might try.
I can't uncover every hidden truth,
I can't grasp the fullness of light.
Yet my true self proclaims,
'I AM the Truth,
The one who truly exists—
From eternity, without end.'

I searched for my true self,
Passing through tunnels of Zulumaat,
Stretching endlessly.
Even Moses was lost,
Seeking the Elixir,
The waters of eternal life.

I tried with all my might,
Yet could not
Navigate each tunnel.
With every step, they stretch further,
Endlessly testing my soul.

I tried as hard as I could,
But I could not
Reach the farthest end.
To let go of the dark labyrinths,
To awaken from deep slumber,
To forget each winding path.

Yet, from the depths of the dark night,
The sun emerged,
Illuminating this truth:
I was lost in night,
But now I stand in daylight—
One light,
Shining through a million faces.
