Maple Leaves Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Maple Leaves

Maple Leaves

In autumn's crisp and colorful morn,
I stroll along the road adorned,
With maple leaves that gently fall,
A carpet of hues that beckon all.

Their beauty strikes my very soul,
As I gather them in my bowl,
Each leaf a work of art so fine,
In patterns of red, yellow, and wine.

The rustle of the leaves beneath my feet,
A gentle cadence, oh so sweet,
The scent of autumn fills the air,
A moment of peace that's beyond compare.

I hold the leaves up to the light,
A moment captured, pure delight,
Their veins and edges so sublime,
A masterpiece of nature's design.

As I walk on the path ahead,
I take a moment to reflect,
On the simple joys that autumn brings,
And the pleasure of picking up maple leaves in the wind
