March Poem by Smoky Hoss

March

Rating: 5.0

for the sake of God
the sun finally shone through today,
into a sky vibrant in blue
smiling from shore to shore, all the way -

an old bird, with an old leaf held tight in an old claw
flew past the last winter moon,
the final moments of the final frigid day
spring awaits the sunrise, not a moment too soon -

winter marches out
spring marches in,
let the joy and festivities
warm and light, begin!

I love this poem for so many reasons Smoky. The advent of Spring, the departure of winter. The warming sun the soft southern breezes. Thank you my friend.
