Margo Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Margo

Margo

Margo is bank-teller
-and great narrator.

She knows of beginning
-and middle, and the end.

Her time in her seat is
-too short and limited;
- (thanks to age, ATM.)

"Must be of Italy; "
-I told her by guessing
-seeing name, look and shape.

She was a dynamite
-needing her prime time;
-and I pulled trigger…

With her was generous
-gave her, what required.

"Dad brought my mother
-with four of children;
-working with the masons."

The rest is obvious;
-buildings in Toronto,
-speak well, perfectly;
-reply to "Buon giorno."

"No one had expected
-any of these changes…"
-neither did Nixon and
-Mao and Kissinger
-when played the game of
- "Politics with ping-pong! "

"We were nine siblings
-all of us slept, lived
-with parents, in a room;
-different were those days! "
