Marred By Trust Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Marred By Trust

Marred by trust

Good to be kind human
Either man or woman
But what if I turn devil
And perform no well

We have turned intolerant
Greedy and totally absent
To the plight of poor people
And share or side with no struggle

We act theoretical
And not care for or remain non committal
This is one of the draw back
That we forget and morally claim stake

One of the poets is said to have written
"Let me be only human"
Remain among poor and trodden
Then I may expect no heaven

I am nowhere near truth
Still claim to be near with proof
Nobody believes in your boost
As it is marred by trust
