Marriage For Two Poem by Chanda Chongo

Marriage For Two

Rating: 4.5

Before a million stars,
shines a crimson night
blended with glaring lights.
Pinpoint, fired from a dazzling moon
unwrapped from the dark envelope, boon,
knited on blue skies
where man and woman
picture their love for love
tied in the loops of wedding vows.
-
Love is free for all,
three,
four
or heeding pre-lovers craving to glow.
Love is for valiant gees,
lass and vibrant manx.
But marraige is for two lovers
whose hearts are entwined with love and passion,
like an army of a thousand brothers.
-
Love is free for all,
short or tall,
blonde, black or raw.
But marraige is for two souls
whose adrenalin wallows in romance and passion
tossed in the pores of their skins.
-
Marraige for two,
is love of an infinite age.
Just like the sky's blue and montain's dew,
marraige is perfectly knited for two.
