Victory isn't for boys whose teeth become blunt
when bone-meat is roasted before their taste buds.
Victory isn't for boys whose eyes shy away from light,
when the moon illuminates the plight
hidden in their hearts.
Victory isn't for boys whose tears drop
when a girl refuses to strip off her linen in the dark,
for this is the fire that ignites their lust
during cold days.
Victory isn't for boys who tremble
when their bodies get wet.
Victory isn't for boys who burry their heads in fear
when rampant arrows bombard the skies
with no opposing force acting on their speed
Victory was never meant
and will never be for these boys,
for their gaze will only slumber in the skyline.
Victory is for men who take their hearts to battle fields
and bring along with them broken swords,
and damaged shields,
for their musqualine bodies will never cease
to amour the souls of feebled villagers.
Victory is for men who dare to caress the sun
with naked hands
and never pay heed to its scorching scent.
Victory is for men who set ablaze
the road to hell
for their courage knows no embodiment of fear.
Victory is for these men.
