Married With A Girlfriend Poem by David Blake

Married With A Girlfriend

Death, to my dreams I know exactly
what she is but I confess I could care
less as I watch her slowly undress.
Afraid to move unable to see I lie
naked hoping for more. Dirty girl on
the stage, Dancing like a shadow,
never complaining about the things
she dose late at night. Lost in a kiss,
just the other side of reason no room
for love only lust, I grab her she loves
it when I pull her hair. Drunk and
maybe stoned I can’t remember why,
maybe I was just lonely.

honest, haunting...but so lonely...you write with such sadness, it's beautiful.
