Lanterns lit, the vibrancy of hibiscus
The rubies of last summer
Dancing like it's a symphony
Love is too raw, too raw to worry.
It is as colourful and beautiful as me.
Today, no grey skies blossom.
No starlit night can treat me to frost.
The path I walk may only be dust.
But it is an extraordinary marsh buttercup.
And it's all mine, and it would not look-
Out of place in a Jodhpur marketplace
Look at how I walk and how I feel alive.
Oh, lanterns lit, the vibrancy of hibiscus
Darling, I can't lie; you're a vision.
And you make me want to blossom in bliss.
Likes of a gory water lily today.
I floated like a bird of paradise, knowing I belonged.
Oh, I am alive tonight.
Lanterns lit, the vibrancy of hibiscus.
The rubies of last summer
Dancing like it's a symphony
Love is too raw to worry about.
The path I walk may only be dust.
But it is an extraordinary marsh buttercup.
