Martial Law Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Martial Law

Martial law is not advised
But as promised
For the welfare of people
If needed to strengthen the struggle

It may be little harsh
Yet may not look farce
As national interest shall be served
And activities of traitors shall be observed

Politicians have proved dark horse
They have sold national interest of course
They have cornered national treasure
And used for personal pleasure

People are fighting for blood
And snatching food
They are killing and spreading hatred
We are totally misled

But martial law is curse
In many cases it has provide futile of course
But still it is helpful to some extent
It is needed at present
