Mary Magdalene Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalenes still walk today
Lives marred by Love's many choices,
Deceived and confused they go astray
Hearts broken, they cry muted voices.

Mary Magdalenes yearn for true love
Trust and care in sincerity
That time and the years truly prove
Such a love will remain faithfully.

Yet even when she lay there, a sinner
All the world would take death as her pay,
Mary Magdalene knew the Redeemer
Had come to wash all her sins away.

Many women suffer as Magdalenes
Pain and abuse they still carry
But with Him Hope and Peace will reign in
And their lives changed eternally!
