Master Deceit Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Master Deceit

Change, when needed
Listen to, when advice is to be heeded
You are wedded to principles
If not more, just help the people

God has made all the fingers different in size
Some are long and some are short
When held together
The strength and unity is offered

Do not change like chameleon’s color
That shall cost you prestige and honor
Nobody shall buy your argument
You shall be called “master deceit”

It is called wisdom
But use it seldom
As it is powerful weapon
Anybody can be impressed and drawn

So look at the wind’s flow
Pick the direction and go
Move with the use of third sense
That shall make you no more tense
