Mastermind Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Mastermind

Here in the earth... walking tall
With your every breath... I call
Open your heart come be... with me
You can't run and hide nor ever... break free

Bow in worship... at my throne
Serve in selfishness... praise me alone
Pleasures take hold... sin with pride
Yield to my voice let... 'Death's Angels Ride'

You had everything once... upon a time
Cursed the 'Lord of All' as... I deceived mankind
Now our battle looms on there... will be victory
I'll have your soul forever... this I decree

Eternity awaits... Heaven was made for you
You had chances to wake up... God sent thousands of clues
If you choose to ignore... These last words of warning
You'll meet me in person... Yes... before the next morning

This is not a threat... It's 'Reality' simple and plain
You know it's the truth signed... 'The Mastermind of Hell's Game'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Taken from the book: 'Open-Ended Artistic Creativity'

When knowing and believing is everything... Wisdom is the 'Key' Don't let it be said 'Too Late' The choice is yours... Choose wisely... Not believing God's Word doesn't make it any less real... Remember the devil is a 'liar' Blessings... T.G.

Remember... 'Not believing in the 'Truth' doesn't make it any less 'Real'... It just makes you very 'Foolish with your one soul'!

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

i used to know John 3: 16 by heart; not the rest.... it is commendable that you are (i guess) trying to save souls. this poem is a VERY unique way to try it. sorry, it won't work on me, a fallen, wayward sheep. BUT I really enjoyed the poem. so well-written and clever, THOUGH the fact that i didn't know until the end who the speaker was......threw me off from understanding a spot or two at first. NOW i know why you wrote Here IN the earth instead of On the earth. the poem does take a serious turn when it goes from a devil who is tempting to one who is warning. is the devil maybe feeling badly about his fall from grace? thanks for sharing. :) you may (or not) find something entertaining in my poem which is along similar lines as yours: 146 Rich Man Vs. Ghost....[Religion; Humor] online 8/24/2012 thanks for sharing. :) oops! i wrote that already!
