it could have been a year now
but i still remember your smell
the way you tasted and the way you frown
because of how i sometimes let you down
everyday i look back and realize
it wasnt all my fault
we were both dumb, so naive, never wise
i dont blame you for saying good bye
but sometimes i wish you didnt
you showed me things that no one else couldnt
but im stronger now, even happier now
and i thank you for everything
for all the hurt, for all the smiles
for all the butterfles, and even the cries
those meant every little thing to me
and now i smile because
your just another great memory
