May day


I shall write about mother's pain
as it remains
the major concern
for the whole of the world and especially for human beings

the human suffering is more
yet we adore
the birth of the human
and that too from the womb of a woman

we may celebrate
it as labor day and state
in unequivocal terms
the women are worthy to be called in turn

you may put the labor
to honor
your struggle
but the woman is sacred to us people

Our pain can be compensated
if that is money related
but what mother has to undergo?
labor pain for the new child to be borne

so this day is specially marked
and celebrated
as the mark of remembrance
to all those, who sacrificed their prime youth, and took the chance
