May God's Glory
May God's glory be my story
In the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Because He lives...I shall live forever
Because He paid sin's ransom price
O Hallelujah when I repented
God cleansed my heart and set me free
Now I can praise Him...and I love too
I praise Him for blest Calvary
My iniquities were laid upon Him
Laid upon Him...everyone!
He bore their brunt for my deliverance
Hallelujah...for that Son
Hear the Saviour calling your name
Come now sinner....sinner come
To know the light of my Salvation
For there's life in the Crucified One
May God's glory be my story
And my heart prepared by prayer
To tell the world the gospel story
So the despairing won't despair
Jesus saves O Hallelujah
What a name...Almighty power!
He can save you that very moment
When you accept His Grace's hour!
Who can render such a victory
Other than our precious Lamb
Who was obedient unto His father
Ever since He left His home
He came down to earth in splendor
Just a babe in Bethlehem
Once there wrapped in swaddling clothes
But today...the Great I Am!
Do you know Him...have you trusted?
Are you resting in that One
Is your story one of His making
Or is your life...still undone
Hear the Saviour! ...still He's calling
Come today! ...O sinner come!
May God's glory be your story
Because of your soul's visitation!
O Hallelujah I have found Him
Whom to know aright is eternal life
Who one day will raise each person
Some to blessings...some to strife
You can know Him if you will too
Will you not know Him today!
It takes but a moment to acknowledge Him
Turn from your sin and come His way!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
