May I Please Take Your Picture Poem by Lauren Coles

May I Please Take Your Picture

Let me take your picture
A child who is unhappy doesn't want to interact with anyone,
You are a photographer and you can make funny faces behind the camera,
You become a rabbit before their very eyes,
You become a frog with your magic wand,
You become a ghost,
You have to use your imagination in order to get your picture,
The mission will become a complete failure without that priceless smile that you came for.
