Long deprived of impassioned sense
....Humanity's...spiritual path...of wonder
Absent such touch....empowered the church
...Thus ripping "American" life asunder

'Twas the "Evangelical God" who gave us "Slavery"
Denied native Indians their promised land
.....Brought the world Hitler....indeed his minions
Defenseless brown-kids...his latest hand

The Evangelical God's divine shenanigans
Havoc spread further amongst Mankind
Anointed "Trump" as spiritual ambassador
"This....according...to the Evangelical mind"

Would a "legitimate" God allow such madness
...Modern day Auschwitz has no place
Lingering hints of yesterday's Germany
....An Evangelical God....today's disgrace

Reunite...the disunited
.......Parents/children back again
Separated through bitter hatred
Determined legislation....it all depends

....On our goodness as a people
Modern day Auschwitz has no place
Where an Evangelical God - seeks division
.....A "MERCIFUL GOD".....sees disgrace

And hopefully...will reunite the disunited
Children/parents - together once again
.....Committing DNA...to humane urgency
May the MERCIFUL GOD...make amends
