Me - As A Teacher - Poem by Deepti Agarwal

I dont worry about
any praise or blame
I do my best
without expecting gain.

As a challenge I
serve my friends
wanting them to be all
wonderful gems.

Notes are prepared
with lots of pain
imparting something new
is always my Aim.

Loving my students
never using a cane
No cheap talk
for personal fame.

Utilizing my time
to enlighten them
to put moral values
In tender brains.

Never knowing why
student respect me well
feels proud seeing them
Hearty and hale.

Without a role model
Teaching is in vain
Only what I practice
That's all I tell them.

It's wonderful to have a Teacher who is so interested in providing her students the best and in a lovely pleasant manner. This makes the future of the country bright with a right and bright attitude.
A suggestion: Maybe you could write some material for the prospective teachers and the parents on how to support and assist the children as far as studies are concerned. It could help.
Well done Madam, many of your students would shine in the future if not all.

This poem is really very nice as it reflects importance of a good teacher and it is very good thing that you never hit your students with a cane. Such a teacher will surely always be respected by the students.Wonderful poem this one is to read. (Report)Reply
