Mask - Poem by Deepti Agarwal

Behind the Mask
lives the true self
the happy - go lucky
all mushy and sweetie
is all about it..

The sad lonely self
is all by itself
surrounded by one's
own dreams thoughts
deep sown...

drizzling shower of rain
brings down the strain
slowly washes away the pain
dissolving the fake mask
forming a sparkling chain....

we are all changing masks every time and one can see their true self only if they look deeper beyond the image in the mirror.10/10 (Report)Reply
